Pearl Thusi took to social media to share some of the perks of being at home due to the coronavirus pandemic, as it allows her to spend quality time with her youngest daughter, Okhule. The mother of two first shared images of the pair reading some books about black empowerment, which she claimed to be a big part of her parenting. She stated, “I love making sure my kids understand their value & make sure that the info they consume represents who they are.”
Pearl then followed with a video of her climbing up a tree in her garden, as she threw down oranges to Okhule who was excited to catch them. The clip showed Okhule excitedly singing about loving oranges, as Pearl looked proudly at her little girl. She captioned the sweet moment with, “We have this magical orange tree in the backyard! Now it has a bird nest on it! w the restrictions COVID has brought, is also the opp to really LIVE & enjoy what’s around u. Bought this House with garden & didn’t know this was an orange tree.
