'Muvhango' actress Phuti Khomo has apparently bagged a white guy who doesn't find her intimidating, as she a few years back so controversially claimed is the case with her and most black men.

According to Drum magazine, 29-year-old Khomo was recently spotted at a bank in Fourways, with an elderly white man who reportedly seemed quite taken with her.

The publication reports that the gentleman in question "looked to be in his 70s" and seemed to be under the impression that Khomo was his girlfriend, as he apparently introduced her as such to tellers at the Standard Bank in Jozi.

"The old man made it very obviously they were an item and he touched her all the time," said a witness.

"But Phuti was trying to push him away. Shame, you could see the guy was in love while Phuti was embarrassed that she was with a man three times her age."

The winner of Miss Teen SA in 2002, Khomo raised eyebrows in 2012 with a very outspoken statement about how black men feel threatened by her strong personality.

She said: "I think black guys find me intimidating. They are not used to someone who knows what they want when it comes to love.

"Example, if I am watching a movie with my partner I want to bite your ear, and it overwhelms our brothers, as they are not used to that. I am actually crazy when it comes to my expression of love."

However, the actress - who plays Carol Chabeli in 'Muvhango' - denied being in a relationship with an old white man when approached for comment.

"He's my dad's friend and client and he's also a shareholder in my social media advertising company called Twadio show," she said.

"It's so sad that when people see you with a male they assume he's your partner. Well, I guess it's the world we live in where people draw their own conclusions."

She did, however, reportedly add that people should get used to seeing her with the anonymous mlungu, because they meet up often to talk business.
