Slain Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa's daughter Namhla Meyiwa was 'living in poverty' as her donors Red Farm pulled her funding. This was due to non-availability of funds due to the lockdown, but it is a decision they are planning to overturn. Now, the 14-year-old's guardian angel seems to be working overtime as former referee and PSL general manager, Andile “Ace” Ncobo, has come to her rescue.

During an episode on Life with Kelly Khumalo, the songstress was at an interview at Massive Metro with DJ Sbu and Tshepi Khanye and opens up about her late boyfriend. Before the interview ends, DJ Sbu asks Kelly what she would say the late Senzo Meyiwa. Kelly then loudly sighs before beginning to answer the host's question. "I don't know what to say," says Kelly, "I think what I want to say to you is I would have been better off with you alive than gone," Kelly adds.

Kelly Khumlo once again landed on the trends list after reports claimed that an alleged hitman stated that Kelly was responsible for the death of the father of her second born, Thingo Khumalo, who is six years old this year. Commenting on these claims, Sfiso Meyiwa told All4Women that they never received any news on the matter and they only heard about it when news broke on social media.

"We only became aware of the reports when we saw the papers. No one told us anything.  There is nothing much we can say at this time. We’ll be convinced when the matter is in court," he told the publication.

Senzo Meyiwa's murder has been the talk of the town ever since the slain Orlando Pirates goalie was gunned down in 2014, at Kelly Khumalo's home in Vosloorus, while at a party. According to News24, police have now made a major breakthrough in the unresolved murder case of the footie. The publication has reported that police have uncovered the weapon which was used to kill Senzo and the murderer behind the killing.

Kelly’s name seemed to be the most topical of the ongoing situation. This after a legal document was “leaked.” In the document, it stresses the importance to get access to Kelly’s phone records because it was suggested that she was the “mastermind” behind the assassination. This is not the first time the allegations have been levelled against, and when they first arose she addressed directly. Kelly reiterated her innocence and went on to showcase how the media has forgotten that she is human, and not just a headline-grabbing name to be used for clickbait.

Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune is disheartened by the justice system not allowing his late friend's family to get the consolation they deserve. He spoke at the unveiling of Senzo Meyiwa's tombstone in Durban at the Mayville Heroes Acre. Speaking about how hurt he truly is about his death, Khune says he is disheartened that the late Orlando Pirates goalkeeper lost his life without having achieved most of the things he wanted to achieve in life.
