In a radio interview with Gagasi FM, Shauwn Mkhize revealed that underneath the glamorous surface lies a very simple woman.
MaMkhize was invited on Gagasi FM’s afternoon drive show, #ThatDrive on Friday, and we must say – her humility beamed throughout the interview.
The opening question that was put to her was, who is Shauwn Mkhize and what is she about? Of which she simply responded: “I’m just a girl from eMbumbulu. I’m a girl next door”.
The mother of two then explained that, her show’s executive producer, Legend Manqele advised her to immerse herself into the world of social media because the masses would inevitably yearn for some kind of interaction with her.
According to Shauwn, Legend has been coercing her into producing her reality show, this went on for more than ten times. Until she agreed to it.
The inner workings of social media was a daunting task for Shauwn. She referenced her tech phobia to her humble background in Mbumbulu, Kwa Zulu Natal.
Sbahle Mpisane and Andile Mpisane are Shauwn’s children. Unlike their mother, they have been killing these social media streets with their subtle swagged up presence.
They were also credited as having assisted mother dearest with a young crash course in social media.
In as much as Shauwn is a filthy rich woman, her warm personality always shines through our television screens.
When she mentioned that she’s just a girl next door – we believed her in a heartbeat because Sis is simply her own person!
