Actress Simphiwe Ngema had to, unfortunately, say goodbye to her Isidingo character Phindi, when the soapie ended, but now she is saying hello to a new character.
Simphiwe shared on Instagram, that she has now joined the cast of season two of Bones of my Bones on SABC 2.
With the end of long-running SABC 3 soapie Isidingo, many of the cast and crew, unfortunately, found themselves joining the unemployment lines, whilst some were lucky enough to be joining new productions.
The former Isidingo actress will be joining fellow former co-star Motlatsi Mafashe, who was her on-screen husband on the SABC 2 production.
"So blessed to be part of this production. We’ve said goodbye to Phindi, it’s almost time to say hello to Ruth!" shared the actress.
Bone of my Bones tells the story of a group of four male friends who have been friends from childhood into adulthood.
The series shows the struggles the men face in their everyday life and their relationships with strong-willed and opinionated women who refuse to have their voices suppressed.
The series starts on April 9 on SABC 2 at 21:30.
