Tasha Cobbs Leonard's two concerts, which were set to take place in Johannesburg this weekend, have both been postponed. The American gospel star will still be coming to Mzansi this year but for now, Computicket is issuing refunds.
It's never nice to learn of a concert cancellation/postponement within days of the show taking place. We saw this last year when Rick Ross' much-anticipated three-city tour was cancelled on the weekend it was meant to take place. In fact, we in Mzansi have experienced cancellations on so many occasions that we're kind of number to these kinds of things these days.

This week it was gospel singer Tasha Cobbs Leonard who had to pull out of her show just four days before she was due to perform in South Africa. A statement released by Gospel Concert Events said:
"Gospel Concert Events today announced that the Tasha Cobbs Leonard concerts due to take place at Ticketpro Dome on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 February 2020 have been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. However, the organisers assure fans that they are in final discussions with Tasha Cobbs Ministries to re-schedule new dates for October 2020.
Gospel Concert Events apologizes to Concert fans for the inconvenience caused by the postponement of the shows."
Understandably, most people were concerned as to what this would mean for the tickets they had already bought. Thankfully, refunds will be made immediately. Here's what they said about how you can claim your refund:
"All ticket purchases made via Computicket’s website and call centre will automatically be fully refunded to the credit card used for the purchase.
All patrons that have bought their tickets in-store would need to go to their nearest Computicket, Shoprite or Checkers outlet to process their full cancellation. The cut-off date for all refunds will be 5 March 2020, no refund requests will be entertained after such date has been reached."
By all accounts, Tasha was excited to perform in South Africa although she's yet to address the unfortunate cancellation. She shared a video in 2019 showing off just how much she was looking forward to visiting Mzansi again. This would have been her second show in Mzansi after 2017's spectacle:
