Terry Pheto is a South African actress best known for her leading role as Miriam in the 2005 Oscar-winning feature film Tsotsi.

Raised in a shack in Soweto until the age of 21, Terry was spotted by casting agent Moonyeenn Lee in a theatre group in Soweto during the casting process for Tsotsi.

Terry was born Moitheri Pheto.

She has appeared on may other films and TV shows both locally and internationally.
