The young rapper, who is known for his undying love for marijuana and his feuds with fellow rappers like Emtee and Mashbeatz is also more notably known for his lyrics and his ability to conquer the industry without management or PR to promote his music.

Like Nasty C, A-Reece, too realized his passion for rap at a very young age and was inspired by his older brother Jay Jody who is also a rapper.

The year 2015 was the rapper’s breakthrough year. His hit song Couldn't with Emtee broke the airwaves and made his name known in South Africa. In 2016, he released his debut album Paradise, which became number one on iTunes less than 24 hours after its release.

Initially signed by Ambitouz Entertainment, A-Reece left the label in 2017, claiming that the record label had never paid him anything despite releasing music and performing at events.

In 2021, A-Reece signed a contract with Artists and repertoire (A&R), which works with and helps emerging artists to get started before they get a signed by record labels. Under A&R, his mixtape Today's Tragedy, Tomorrow's Memory: the mixtape got publicized in Forbes, Clash, and Flaunt magazines.

As of 2022, the 25-year-old rapper has released two studio albums, a good number of singles, several extended plays (EP), mixtapes, and collaborations.

Through his music, he has earned prestigious nominations and awards, including a pending nomination at the MTV Africa Music Awards.

A-Reece’s net worth has solely been accumulated through his music. He earns money from royalties, YouTube, licenses, and performances. It is reported that he charges R55,000 to perform.

According to sources, A-Reece bought himself a beautiful mansion in 2019. The value of the house is unknown but it is reportedly located in the Pretoria suburbs so the rapper must have spent some good money on it.

It is reported that A Reece lives with the other members of the Wrecking Crew group, of which he is a member.

At the time of his departure from Ambitiouz Entertainment, A-Reece claimed that since the label had held his money, he hadn’t even bought his car.

Currently, he owns a Mercedes Benz and he was once spotted in a Ferrari, although it’s not clear if it’s his.

A-Reece is not the richest rapper in South Africa, but he is among the top ten richest rappers. Presently, the title of the richest rapper in Mzansi is held by AKA, who has a net worth of about $12 million.
