According to entertainment commentator Phil Mphela, Ayanda Borotho and Abdul Khoza have landed new roles in an upcoming series on Mzansi Magic. Abdul Khoza played Judas Ngwenya's son, Qaphela Ngwenya and Ayanda Borotho played Phumelele Ngwenya, wife to Mpiyakhe Zungu.
Tweeps cannot wait to see Ayanda Borotho in action again and are excited. Here are some of the reactions:
"I can't wait to see Ayanda Borotho on my screen yoh? I'm in love with that woman. I just hope they storyline is on point hle ai what we are getting on Mzansi Magic lately is not so interesting."
"That's great that new show better be few familiar faces then the rest new faces...we cant be watching Isibaya exponent 2."
"The way I love Ayanda. I'll bet you I don't hear a thing I'd just be looking at her."The multi-award-winning show reached it's end 2 April 2021. This was because of it's bad viewership but in January this year it reached a shocking 2million viewers.
In their farewell message, Isibaya wrote on Instagram how much they appreciate their viewers.
"What would #ISIBAYA be without its fans? From the moment the Isibaya story began with Sbu and Thandeka’s unconditional love, our fans have been glued to the screen. When wars erupted between families, friends and enemies, Isibaya fans were there, choosing sides and fueling the fire.
"You demanded the most of us and you praised us the loudest when we won awards. You even votes us your most loved telenovela on numerous occasions. You screamed the loudest and danced the most at the celebration of authentic Zulu culture."
When Menzi Ngubane won a SAFTA for the Best Actor in a Telenovela, Abdul paid a moving tribute to his onscreen father, "I have never posted since I lost you @menzingubanesa & many will never understand what you meant to me. But I finally cried tears of joy when I finally witnessed your flowers on this year's SAFTAS. So I just want to say siyabonga SOMAHASHI for everything you gave us with each breathe you took with your unmatched talents in this industry.
"Today I can only share the song we made together as father & son, whilst playing those roles on screen too. @bomb_productions & @isibayamzansi thank you for giving me a father & mentor in the industry."
