By now you would’ve woken up to the great news of Black Coffee and Cassper Nyovest being nominated for an MTV European Award.
This is certainly great news to hear, especially for Black Coffee who was embroiled in a whole lot of drama this past weekend.
Black Coffee and Cassper Nyovest have been nominated for Best African Act. This is not the first international award nomination that both artists have been nominated for, in May both artists alongside AKA were nominated for a BET Award for a similar category.
Still on the topic of Black Coffee, word on these celebrity streets is that there is a song called Slap like Black Coffee released by a rapper called Jovislash.
We haven’t heard the song yet but the art-work is already out.
We’re not sure what Jovislash strategy is with this song but we doubt it will get a lot of positive buzz from the hip-hop fraternity, it’s just too soon.
On the other hand, maybe Jovislash is trying to make light of a somewhat serious situation?
