In the three weeks since the first episode was available it has done numbers earning over 316k views and close to 40 000 subscribers as the first episode of B*Dazzled 2.0 was the introduction of her new YouTube channel. Now it seems that following the success of the first collaboration, Matheba is readying for her second collaboration.
Bonang confirms Steve Madden collab part two
Recently, Matheba confirmed that she was en route back to her second home, New York City. While many believed that she was heading to the US to shoot content for the second episode of B*Dazzled. Matheba recently seemed to also confirm that she was in the city to make another big bag.
Her first Steve Madden collaboration was specifically rolled out as a South African dedicated shoe, specifically spring/summer, collection. But now it seems that Steve Madden International is ready to take on Matheba as their “IT” girl.
This is as Matheba shared her latest post confirming that she was at Steve Madden headquarters in New York.
Following her on the grid post, Matheba then took to her Instagram stories to confirm that she was visiting the headquarters as part two of her collaboration with Steve Madden is underway. However, whether this collaboration will again focus on just shoes or include fashion, is still a mystery.
While Matheba might be having fun in the US, her journey to New York was not smooth sailing. This was a result of her “feud” with her cousin and former co-star Pinky Girl. As reported earlier in the year:
Bonang Matheba throughout her reign as one of the leading ZAlebs in the country has continually been followed by allegations of being a mean girl. As such, her media friendships are continually scrutinised. More so as most seem to end.

Whether it was the likes of DJ Zinhle, Lorna Maseko, Nadia Nakai and the alleged on-and-off friendship that she seems to have with Boity Thulo. As beloved as Queen B* is by the country, it is hard to not see a pattern when it comes to her industry friendships.
However, what many did not bargain on was that even her familial relationships would turn out to be toxic. This following the initial banter turned into a serious problem between herself and her cousin and reality star, Pinky Girl.
Context:…As [Matheba] plans her return [to reality television or vlogging], it seems that she wanted to bring Pinky Girl along to possibly feature her in upcoming episodes of B*Dazzled 2.0. However, in a subliminal tweet expressed how this was not possible because this time Pinky Girl has a visa, what she did do was get vaccinated so she can’t come.
…At the time, the banter was taken as light-hearted banter between cousins who got along. But it quickly became clear that this was not the case as Pinky Girl vented on the blue app.
