Moreover, it seems that die hard fans of Queen B* are also excited when she drops easter eggs of her previous viral moments via her social media. Her latest easter egg was a reference back to her Being Bonang days when she was dragging reality star and cousin to Queen B*, Pinky Girl.
Bonang Matheba drags Pinky Girl
It all started when Bonang returned to Twitter following last week when she confirmed the return of B*Dazzled. This time however, Matheba was sharing an update on her travel arrangements as she plans her trip to her second home in New York.
If you can remember back in 2020, Matheba had asserted that she was relocating to New York to further her international career ambitions. However, due to the COVID, Matheba could only actually relocate to NY in 2021.
Therefore as she plans her return, it seems that she wanted to bring Pinky Girl along to possibly feature her in upcoming episodes of B*Dazzled 2.0. However, in a subliminal tweet expressed how this was not possible because this time Pinky Girl has a visa, what she did do was get vaccinated so she can’t come.
While her tweet did not mention names, die-hard fans were quick in putting one plus one together to get Pinky Girl.
Matheba joined in on the fun as she referenced her own meme-able moment from Being Bonang when she had to leave Pinky Girl behind because at the time she did not have a visa.
As such, one follower shared the full clip of the moment to contextualise the matter.
Matheba also confirmed that she is expanding her team as she shared she is looking for a new additional P.A who will join her as she travels the world.
While this marks a throwback to a favourite meme from Being Bonang, Matheba has already created her first meme-able moment of 2023 with the release of the first episode of B*Dazzled 2.0. As reported at the time:
The first episode of the new and improved version of B*Dazzled has already done what Being Bonang is most beloved for, and that is provide memes and gifs for the B* Force and the general public alike to use. The most prominent meme from the episode comes when Matheba was planning the launch of her Steve Madden shoe collaborative collection.
Speaking to her team about the media that she be invited, Matheba describes Previdar as “what's that magazine for the gays.” A fact which quickly became a meme on social media.
Interesting, while Matheba could not remember the name of the magazine in 2022. The star was one of the first prominent ZAlebs to cover the magazine back in 2013. At the time Matheba was still the brand ambassador for Brutal Fruit and graced the cover for what was touted as The Brutal Issue.
