Bonang Matheba
Let’s face it, if asked to think about a celebrity who is making it big as an entrepreneur, the first name that comes to mind is Bonang Matheba. Queen B as she is so affectionately known, runs quite a number of businesses which of course explains how she can afford her luxurious lifestyle.

So, if you have always wanted to know the business moghel runs and owns, then this article is for you.

House Of Bonang

Let us begin with the most popular business which is the House of Bonang. Launched in 2019, Bonang launched her very own alcohol beverage brand and has taken quite the upward trajectory ever since then.

It’s top product being the Brut and Brut Rosé Méthode Cap Classiques (MCCs). Speaking as to why she decided to launch the brand, Bonang said,

The House of BNG was a passion project of mine for a long time. It’s no secret that champagne is my favourite drink, so having the opportunity to make my own MCC was an opportunity I couldn’t miss out on! I’m so excited about the brand’s growth and in its innovation of new products

And despite the drama that House of BNG had to endure not too long ago, it is good to see that that did not stop Queen B from bagging win after win and keeping her brand at the top.

Bonang Matheba Entertainment

Being in the media and entertainment industry, Bonang also decided to launch her very own production house, Bonang Matheba Entertainment, that has so far produced one show on 1 Magic TV, Being Bonang.

It was therefore quite shocking and sad to hear that the reality tv show was coming to an end after 3 seasons. The reason, Bonang shared, was because it was one of the worst experiences of her life. As you can already imagine, tweeps could not believe why she would say this seeing that it was her very own creation!

Making Being Bonang Season 3 was one of the worst working experiences of my life!! Glad it’s ending…remind me to tell y’all why one day!

Bonang Matheba World

Bonang Matheba's World is a mobile app that offers an all-access pass to non-stop adventure and exclusive content for fans both on Cell C and MTN Networks.

It includes videos of Bonang answering subscriber questions and going behind the scenes at photo shoots and events, as well as special make-up and hair styling tips, Bonang's favorite places to hang out – from bars, clubs, and restaurants to holiday destinations, fashion trends, and other exclusive advice such as daily affirmations, self-growth, health tips, and business advice.

The announcement of this absolutely creative app was received by a lot of excitement by fans who were happy to finally get to have a walk into Bonang’s world and engage with her on a level that they would not have on her social media pages. Well done moghel!

The “Untitled” Podcast

It was not that long ago when the radio presenter announced that she would be hosting her very own podcast on Charlamagne tha God's Black Effect Podcast Network in partnership with iHeartMedia.

This news was received with a lot of awe and excitement from friends and industry mates who were happy that they would be hearing her voice back on the airwaves yet again. Such a partnership has of course meant more income as well as some much needed exposure to the industry.

Clearly she is a queen on an unstoppable roll and we love to see it.

Bonang Matheba Bursary Fund

When she is slaying in front of the camera or on the red carpet, Baonag also spends her time and resources heading the Bonang Matheba Bursary Fund that aims to send disadvantaged girls to school.

The student uprisings in 2016, known as #FeesMustFall, inspired The Bonang Matheba Bursary Fund, which had a tremendous global impact.

Bonang felt compelled to become engaged and contribute to a solution, so she teamed up with the ONE Campaign to fight extreme poverty, and she also successfully led the #GirlsCount campaign.

Bonang was invited to speak at the 2016 World Economic Forum in Durban, South Africa, with African delegates and political leaders from across the continent regarding global poverty and education.

Talk about being an all rounded queen!! Keep winning sis!

I hope you are feeling inspired after reading this article, I know I am. We can not wait to see what great things Queen B will be doing this year, because if there is one thing she has proven, it’s that there is no stopping her.
