Nigerian musician Burna Boy has finally broke his silence of the untimely passing on Kiernan 'AKA' Forbes. Burna Boy and AKA were once close following their collaboration on hit songs, All Eyes On Me and Baddest.

Without a doubt the merciless killing of AKA has touched many people's lives across the continent of Africa. Ahead of his funeral on Saturday, 18th February, 2023, tributes and condolences messages continues to pour in for his family across all social media platforms.
Nigerian singer Burna Boy has taken to Instagram to convey his deepest condolences to both Forbes family. Even though the pair we not getting along anymore following following their fallout back in 2019.
"WTF is all of that about/ I just heard he died, seen that video at that restaurant/ Took me out of a positive mood/ Took me back to that day when you saw my (gun) and you said I was wild/ Then I told you you should have one too/ Cuz it weren't like niggaz wasn't dying but I though you knew/ And I ain't really thought you knew/ And I ain't really fuck with you/ But I didn't want you dead, it was like that with you and me/ Wicked!/ I hope they catch whoever did you wicked/ I hope you rest in peace even though we ain't kick it/ At the end of the day we some grown ass niggaz" wrote Burna Boy
Burna Boy and AKA were once best friends and their music and personal relationship was one for the books. However, when both these stars were feuding on social media following AKA's rant about losing a match to Nigerian, all bets were off for Burna Boy.
Following that were the violence against the Nigerian during the 2018/2019 violent protests. Burna Boy spoke against the violence against his brothers and sisters here in South Africa and even proceeded to claim that he was going to boycott the country against the violence towards Nigerians.
Even Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage jumped on the conversation and even proceeded to cancel the DSTV international delicious food and music festival she was booked for.
"I refuse to watch the barbaric butchering of my people in SA. This is SICK. For this reason I will NOT be performing at the upcoming DSTV delicious Festival in Johannesburg on the 21st of September. My prayers are with all the victims and families affected by this." wrote Tiwa Savage
Burna Boy admits he regrets not making amends sooner with AKA following their fall out.
