Cassper Enlists Okmalumkoolkat For Upcoming Album

Cassper Nyovest was once one of the most active ZAlebs on Twitter, which sometimes did not fair well for him as he continually got into heated back-and-forths with his followers.

However, with the untimely passing of his friend and fellow legendary rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes, Caspper made it clear that his focus would be on completing his much anticipated strictly Hip-Hop album. As such, the Billiato owner has been scarce on the blue app.

That was until he returned this past week as he confirmed that his latest album is nearing completion. This comes as he shared yet another teaser from the album, which saw him spit bars.

Not only that, but Cassper confirmed that the album will be named in his original ethos of naming his projects after his loved one. This one is set to be released with the title Solomon, which is the real name of his best friend Carpo More.

As such, as the weeks countdown to the official release of the album, Cassper is ensuring that this album will not disappoint as he enlists his past-time hitmaking features,

As Cassper’s fans and Hip-Hop fanatics wait to see whether Cassper’s seventh studio record will deliver as promised. It seems that the rapper and Root of Fame apparel creator is ensuring his pulling out all the stops.

Specifically, this comes as he continued to excite fans when he shared that this album will mark his reunion with Durban-based artist and Hip-Hop pioneer, Spova Gang leader, Okmalumkoolkat.

The two Hip-Hop legends had previously featured on the classic Major League DJz’ fronted single Slyza Tsotsi and the Gusheshe (Remix).

Fans seeing the post of the two in the studio with newly celebrated rapper Malgera Doe Boy, and former Twitter beef and Hip-Hop DJ Speedsta, and award-winning producer Anatii. It seems the excitement for the upcoming album has piqued even further.

Cassper has already teased yet another track with Hip-Hop heads believed to have the potential of being a summer hit earlier in the year. As reported at the time:

…Cassper is ready to reveal what he was working on during his music workshop. This comes after his recent performance where he shared a snippet of the new music he was working on. As promised, it is Hip-Hop and it seems that Cassper is readying another Hip-Hop classic.
This comes after snippets of the track loosely titled Bashimane Baka has been touted as an upcoming hit by Cassper’s fans. This a believable sentiment when considering the track’s lyricism that sees Cassper infusing Kwaito elements in his upcoming single as he dabbles in isiZulu rhymes.
