Cassper Nyovest has been in his quiet era for the past couple of months. The rapper and businessman spent the best part of last year securing the money bags which were outside of his music career. This includes the likes of his celebrity boxing matches, his alcoholic brand Billiato and enforcing his working relationship with apparel brand Drip for his Root of Fame apparel.

All this silence can be credited to Cassper’s sole focus this year to returning to making hit songs that have a lasting impact. An elusive matter for the rapper during 2022 as all the tracks he released in the year seemed to have all failed to have a lasting impact.
However, this year Cassper is seemingly focussed on making his hits again. As such, the rapper is sharing what fans can expect from the upcoming new album.
Cassper Nyovest confirms new album is Amapiano free
Taking to Twitter, Cassper recently shared an update on what his fans can expect from his upcoming album. Cassper made it clear that this upcoming album is meant to flex his lyricism which has been continually questioned given just how many viral flatlined freestyles that Nyovest have.
“This album is perfect. I might not drop a single. I might just drop the whole project so it’s received in context. I don’t want any confusion so, the song that is dropping before the album isn’t a single. It’s a campaign. It’s a dope song but it’s not the sound of the album.”
…It seems that Cassper is ready to reveal what he was working on during his music workshop. This comes after his recent performance where he shared a snippet of the new music he was working on. As promised, it is Hip-Hop and it seems that Cassper is readying another Hip-Hop classic.
This comes after snippets of the track loosely titled Bashimane Baka has been touted as an upcoming hit by Cassper’s fans. This a believable sentiment when considering the track's lyricism that sees Cassper infusing Kwaito elements in his upcoming single as he dabbles in isiZulu rhymes.
As such, Cassper has made it clear that this album will be Amapiano-free as he tweeted:
Despite this fact, Cassper still continues to work with popular Amapiano leading female vocalists. This is as he recently shared his studio session with Vula Mlomo hitmaker Nobantu Vilakazi. The two teased the music they have been working on via Instagram.
