One of our favourite female DJs, Zinhle Jiyane, seems to be really loving motherhood. The DJ and businesswoman, who gave birth to her first baby, Kairo Owethu Forbes, last month, doesn’t think she’ll have more children.
Speaking on V Entertainment recently, she said: “After I had Kairo, and it felt like it took forever just to manufacture her. I don’t think I’m gonna have anymore kids. I’m done.”
Zinhle, who is in a relationship with rapper AKA, said she doesn’t think people refer to her as AKA’s girlfriend, and added: “Maybe more as Kairo’s mom. But definitely, it’s part of who I am now so I can’t run away from that. But I definitely feel like DJ Zinhle is stronger and she is the person I wanna be known as.”
Zinhle, who’ll be playing at this year’s Oppikoppi Festival, said she’s excited about going back to work. She said the gig is the best way for her to come back to the business.
