Fans are concerned about the Gospel star Bucy Radebe following her lengthy statement that she issued on her social media platforms opening up about her serious health scare.

The #SAMA27 nominee was meant to appear at a media briefing in Botswana earlier this month, but she did not pitch.

Her management released a statement a few days ago explaining what happened “Amid her flight, Ms. Radebe started to experience health complications that forced her to immediately return home upon her landing in Gaborone. Supporters would remember that she had some health-related struggles, which resulted in two surgeries in a space of 12 months between 2020 and 2021 about which she was publicly open. We cannot foresee any complications that may arise at any given time,” the statement read.

Captioning the statement on her Instagram page, the singer apologized to her Botswana fans saying some things are beyond her control. She shared that she will be in Botswana in April for the Gospel Is Alive concert.

Fans and other celebrities have since taken to the comments section to wish her a speedy recovery.
Bucy scared fans again last year when she revealed that she and her husband had tested positive for COVID and had serious complications.

She told TimesLive that she had a major surgery that resulted in her having to have a blood transfusion. She also revealed that her husband's situation was worse and at some point, she thought he was gasping his breath.

“He had to be hospitalised because his oxygen levels kept dropping ... he kept on getting worse to a point where he was struggling to breath. There were times when I thought that he was gasping his last breath and the only thing I was able to do was to cry to God and pray,

“When I saw him get into the Covid-19 ward, I felt like I was seeing him for the last time. It felt like the last goodbye. I could see that he had given up on life, he was ready to go ... during the day he'd be fine, but in the evening he would call me and cry. Even I could tell that he was weak ... even the messages he'd write to me I thought that he was saying his goodbyes ...she told the publication.

Meanwhile, Bucy recently took to Instagram to celebrate 20 million album streams. The gospel star also announced that she is planning to fill up Sun City next month.

She wrote: "God cannot be predicted at all.🙏 I didn’t expect this on my first album, it has been 2 years of Glory to Glory, grace upon grace🙌 Thanks to all who supported me… Let’s now go fill up Sun City, 30 April."
