As the the number of confirmed coronavirus cases continue to increase, fear is heightened amongst people in the country.
One person who is also fearful about contracting the virus is musician Holly Rey who just dropped a banger titled 'Wanna Be.'
The musician says she is fearful about contracting COVID-19 because she is a person living with Diabetes.
Isolezwe reports that the musician is currently keeping a safe distance at her home not only to prevent herself from contracting the virus, but to also protect her family as well.
"I am staying indoors and trying to not go gallivanting around as I am at a high risk of contracting the virus, because I have diabetes. In order for my family to stay safe and healthy I am choosing to remain indoors," she said.
She yearns for the country to go back to the way things were pre-coronavirus, however safety comes first. She cannot wait to entertain her fans once the situation has lessened.
"I do miss performing on stage but the current situation does not condone that. We should unite in prayer as a country and follow instructions carefully till things return back to normal," she pleaded.
Not letting the pandemic stop her from doing what she loves, she says she has a plethora of songs she has in her bag that she will be releasing as time goes. Her current one, Wanna Be was recorded before the lockdown and she is grateful for the lockdown because it allowed her to remain in studio.
