Musa Khawula shared a video clip taken by a tweep saying the house belongs to Kamo Mphela's mother. The building looks dilapidated and the blogger even alleged that Kamo's mother is struggling with alcohol abuse.
Of course, this is all just a rumour but Kamo tweeted a message dedicated to her mother, shortly after the video went viral, saying she appreciates her mother for giving her everything she could, saying she did not fail.
"Dear mommy you never failed because you gave me all you could & I appreciate that." This was not admission of anything in Kamo's part but fans have since comforted her following the nasty comments from people regarding that video.
In previous interviews, Kamo admitted that her relationship with her mother was never a strong one. She was raised by her father Onitiaf Mphela, who is said to be wealthy and actually tried to open doors for her in the industry.
This would include sending Kamo to YFM studios and when the opportunity presented itself, she would perform on stage.
Her mother, although played a little role in her upbringing, encouraged Kamo to follow her dreams and make mistakes so as to learn from them.
In an interview on Podcast And Chill, Kamo spilled on her career and how she plans on using her fame.
"The fame doesn't last that long so you have to make the most of it while you still have time. That's what people don't understand. It's not a lifetime thing unless you are legendary."

"Cassper is still the biggest artist but he still has to convince people that he is the best. I don't want to go through that personally. There's only so much you can do in your own country. Fill Up was the biggest so what's next? It's easy to get to the top but it's hard to stay there."
