Multi-award-winning singer Kelly Khumalo and other musicians have taken to their social media platforms to mourn the passing of the percussionist Teekay Kotu. Teekay was a former member of the popular duo Rhythmic Elements.
Taking to Instagram, Kelly Khumalo said she is still in disbelief.
"This I have not come to terms with and I don’t think I ever will, the pain is too much, I know I’m strong but no one prepared me for this,

Kelly and Teekay released a song together last year titled 'Passop.'
Teekay's Memorial service will be held tomorrow in Pretoria, Ga-Rankuwa.
Another one of our favourate celebrities who is mourning the passing of a loved one is a TV presenter and Youtuber Merica Monamodi.
She recently opened up about the passing of her brother on her social media platforms.
"I can't believe my brother is no more. I really lost my brother guys. I'm in so much pain," she tweeted.
Taking to her Insta stories, Merica said she is struggling to come to terms with her brother's passing, "I will always love you in this lifetime and the next. I will make you proud. I will be the best aunt for you. Thank you for choosing us,
"Anyone who knows or watched my YouTube would know the kind of relationship I had with my brother. The tears can't stop rolling. I am in so much pain. I love you Billy," she wrote.
Meanwhile, the entertainment industry is still mourning the passing of the legendary actor Patrick Shai. He reportedly committed suicide last week after receiving social media hate.

His son also released a statement expressing his disappointment in him. He said, “You may have seen the videos that have been going around about my dad...I understand the impact that it has on him as a brand equally on myself as an establishing brand. His actions of carelessness and selfishness has put myself and my family under a compromising position.
“The embarrassment is severe to a point of no expression. I’m where I am asking myself questions like 'what happened to the doors I’m knocking on?' I type this highly emotional with teary eyes. To some, it may be funny and some of you under the severity of pain and embarrassment my family is in,” he said before concluding his letter by thanking people for the support.
The actor issued an apology stating that he should have known better as an adult. "My apologies, I humbly, from the bottom of my heart, apologise for having used such strong language towards your mom. Even though the challenge would've been an ideal thing, but now it has been soured by what I said.
“I apologise from the bottom of my heart, please forgive me and forgive me South Africans. I am regretting every bit of the last sentence. That I used, I'm sorry."
