The beloved personality first caught our attention this past week when she was featured on BET’s “Behind the Story" with Pearl Thusi. From that interview alone, television lovers were already excited about that the show would bring to the table, except the people with albinism because Refilwe Modiselle might drag her again on social media.
But undeterred, Khanyi revealed that besides providing Pearl Thusi with a humble drag about how instrumental she was in Mama Pantha’s glow up. Following the show trending, Khanyi revealed that there would be a second part to her appearance on “Behind The Story,” which was aired just before the debut episode of her reality show, “Always Rise.” The move proved a smart one, as both episodes topped that charts and cemented the fact the Khanyi is the girl that she thinks she is.

Khanyi was so elated about the achievement that the good sis took to social media to share her elation with her followers. First was the live session that was hosted before the airing of the show. The post has been since deleted by the personality, but the post revealed that she had gathered her entire nuclear family to watch the first episode together. The post was the first that featured the entire clan since the family hosted the live stream following the passing of their father, Menzi Mcunu.

The subsequent post was the star sharing how much the positive reception to the show meant to her. But Khanyi was not the only cast member of the reality show that shared how they felt about the reception to the show. Everyone had their chance, but the surprising cameo on the post was that of her teenage daughter, Cannes. The teenager was shy and had little to say despite already being a fan favorite with the fans.
Tweeps were most floored by Cannes as many expected her to be a baby and not a fully-fledged teenager. Moreover, people are fascinated with the relationship between the two.  And fans can expect more with the upcoming five episodes that have already been shot. Currently Khanyi and cast are still set to shoot the last six episodes of the first season of the show.
