L'vovo Pens Touching Tribute To His Mother

Kwaito musician Thokozani Ndlovu, better known to the industry as L'vovo Derrango, is going through a difficult period in his life as he has lost his mother.

The Bayang'sukela hit maker, who is also very active politically on social media announced on social media that his mother is no more.

A heartbroken L'vovo penned a touching tribute, thanking his mother for being mother than just a parent to him, but for being his friend too.

"DEAR MAMA. Thank u for being my mother a friend a pillar advisor Iā€™m the man i am today because of ur teaching u gave me everything I wanted in life raising me as a single parent thank u [sic]."

The award-winning musician also thanked his mother for teaching him to fear God, as well as many of her other teachings; including respect. Describing her as the best parent, the artist said he'd choose her over and over again ā€ adding that she sends his regards to his father, sisters, brothers and grandparents.

"U were always there for me giving me support in whatever I was doing never judged me ungifundisile ukumazi unkulunkulu nokumesaba šŸ™ ungifundise ukumazi omunye umuntu nokumhlonipha noma engenalutho ngiyabonga sthandwa sami uma kungathiwa angikhethe omunye umzali i will choose u over then over again kubuhlungu, but ngiyazi u watching over me everyday I can rite whole book about u but let me stop here ā€¦ā€¦ā€¦ā€¦ā€¦ā€¦ā€¦..I love u ntombi ka Linda use ungikhonzela kubaba nabafowethu nodadewethu no gogo nomkhulu ubatshele ngiyabathanda Hambe kahle Mama wena nkosi uyazi."

The Durban-based musician also spoke to DailySun, revealing that his mother became very sick after getting her second COVID-19 vaccination

"She went for the first jab, and she was okay. But problems started after she went for her second dose. She started feeling sick and it continued up until the day she died. She was never someone who got sick very often but all we can do now is accept and let our hearts heal," he explained.

He also said that details pertaining to her funeral service have not yet been confirmed as the protest action in KZN continues to halt many operations.

"But we are looking into burying her this coming weekend. But all relevant details will be shared accordingly because at this very moment we don't know what tomorrow holds for us due the protests that have been happening in the country," he said.


The entertainment industry has seen a lot of RIPs in recent months, Maskandi King as pronounced by his fans Khuzani Mpungose is also mourning the passing of his loved one.

Taking to Instagram, Khuzani said his family paid their final respect to the late Sakhiseni Mpungose last week. Sharing a picture of Sakhiseni, Khuzani wrote: "Silinyalelwe emndenini silinyalelwe kwaGuqa. Hamba kahle Khuba besisakuthanda ukuba nawe. Siyakuphelezela namhlanje." (We are injured in the family in Guqa. Goodbye Khuba we still love to be with you. We are laying you to rest today).
