History was made as Miss South Africa Lalela Mswane was crowned the Miss Supranational winner 2022. The 13th Edition of Miss Supranational Pageant was held at Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sacz, Poland.

Following all the hurdles that Miss South Lalela Mswane has to endure during her reign as Miss South Africa, Lalela Mswane still remained supreme. Even after when she departed to represent South Africa in the Miss Universe 2021 Pageant that was held at the very controversial Israel, Lalela Mswane stick to what she believes in and lived by it.

Tweeps took to social media to celebrate in the moment of glory and victory as Miss South Africa Lalela Mswane became the very first black woman to ever win Miss Supranational Pageant.

During when she went to Israel to participate in the Miss Universe 2011, Miss South Africa Lalela Mswane faced a lot of backlash even from the government of this country. Later the South African Friends of Israel (SAFI), crowned Lalela Mswane's accomplishment in the Miss Universe Pageant as Honorable.

The Miss South Africa academy took to Twitter to celebrate Lalela Mswane's beautiful victory.

Worth noting, Lalela Mswane's national costume was designed by Cape Town’s Lloyd Kandlin, who is the Director of Costume Department behind Zozi Tunzi's Miss Universe Costume back in 2019.
