This is not a drill! American hitmaker Lil Baby has been confirmed for his first ever South African show. The Yes Indeed rapper will be headlining the third edition of the upcoming Flexecution music event which will be taking place at Nasrec Expo Center in Johannesburg this December.

Flexecution, now in its third year, has prided itself on providing an exciting experience for music listeners. Last year's edition was, as Future would describe it, "Sensational"; with headline acts such as Riky Rick and Frank Casino stealing the show. This year's edition promises to be an even bigger affair and for the first time ever, the Flexecution team is bringing an international headliner: Lil Baby.

The news was confirmed in a press release which read:

"For the third year running, Flexecution has delivered on its promise to provide an exhilarating experience blending the finest elements of urban music and street culture for fans from across South Africa.

This year’s festival was billed to be the biggest to date and the organisers have delivered not only by upgrading this year’s venue, Nasrec Expo Center is the largest venue in the concert’s history, but also by putting together their biggest lineup to date. The crown jewel of the 2019 roster was added today when Lil Baby was announced as Flexecution’s 2019 blockbuster headliner."

Flexecution will Lil Baby’s first-ever show on the African continent and obviously his first in South Africa. He will be performing in front of nearly 20,000 hip hop lovers, and any South African fans who have never seen him live will be in for a treat. Billboard described a Lil Baby show in 2018 by saying “His innate sense of propulsion gets the audience where they need to go. Shy, brooding and nonetheless charismatic, Lil Baby stross across the stage with a calm presence”

The rest of the Flexecution lineup will feature some of the hottest local and continental talent including DJ Maphorisa, Davido and other massive names. With Lil Baby as a crowd puller, you can be guaranteed that it's going to be an unmissable experience.

Tickets for Flexecution 2019 are currently on sale at Webtickets and range between R350 for General Access R1250 for VIP. If you ened any more convincing, here's what happened the last time Flexecution was in town:
