Makhadzi is one of South Africa's freshest and most loved performers in her own right, the singer/songwriter has been working on her album for quite some time now and she has finally dropped it, much to the delight of her fans.

Her much-anticipated album is titled Kokova (Crawl), and she has plenty of features, from Zimbabwean award-winning artist Jay Prayzah, to our favourite Mzansi superstars Moonchild Sanelly, Mampintsha and Sho Madjozi on it. Makhadzi says her album was inspired by the appreciation she has been receiving from her fans.

"They really love my music and my dance moves so that is why I decided to do a dance song which is called Kokoba on the album, and the whole album is inspired by the love I have been receiving,"

""I was try to show people that I can do any music, I did a song with Moonchild and Team Mosha, for Moonchild and Mampintsha I wanted to show people that we are all Africans and we must unite especially when It comes to our diverse languages, and that we must be one,"

Makhadzi has received so much support from her fellow artists, Sho Madjozi has been supporting her from the beginning up until her album launch.

The Huku star, who has always wanted to do a collaboration with Makhadzi Tweeted her excitement on her way to the album launch.

"Off to Makhadzi’s album listening party What are you saying about these braids thouuuughhh ???"

Although it came as a surprise to many, it was however expected that Master KG would live up to his word and support his ex-girlfriend. The two ex-love birds worked together on her alum despite their breakup, which shows the amount of love and respect they have for each other.

The Jerusalema superstar revealed earlier this year that the split was mutual because he and Makhadzi wanted to focus more on their individual careers. Although Makhadzi was ready to share why she and Master KG broke up, she had this to say.

"The only thing I also want and I wish could happen just that it didn't  happen the way I wanted, I only want people to know Makhazi for her performances and music besides my personal issues but because people already knew about my relationship  there was nothing I can do but my wish is for them to know about my music only."

We are glad they could put their differences aside and work on this hot album, the 21 track album is unskippable from start to finish.

Let us know what you think about it.
