Master KG Tweeted in a series of Tweets that he was distraught after he forgot his two cellphone devices in a Bolt Taxi. "I forgot my two phones inside @Boltapp_za and the guy dropped me off And immediately when I realized my phones are not wit me..I tried calling they guy phone, and it was off..5hours later it was on he says he did private trips they might have taken my phones. And the guy says he switched his phone off immediately after dropping me...coz he was tired mxm eish," said the musician.
Now in a turn of events, MTN has come to his rescue, the giant network replaced his phone and Master KG could not be anymore proud.
"Big thanks to @MTNza For replacing one of my Lost Phone devices...FOR Free," said the DJ.
Almost everyone has a Bolt Driver story to share and it's always a bad story because Bolt trips always end in tears. The e-hailing company's drivers are notorious for being sketchy, rude and have even been accused of being part of the growing human trafficking syndicate in the country.
When the hit-maker realised that he had forgotten his devices, he quickly alerted the driver but all he got was a voicemail, this is a classic move that many have experienced with Bolt. The cellphone devices were most probably sold on the "Black Market" and waiting for their new owner. His fans tried to console him but to their disappointment it did not work. Most social media users had nothing good to share about the e-hailing service though.
Bonang Matheba has reportedly also lost her jewellery that is worth R100 00. It is alleged to have been stolen, but no arrests were made.
Bonang said she moved from her house from July till August. During that period, she noticed that her diamond-encrusted bracelet had gone missing and possibly stolen. Bonang opened a case at the Sandton police station, and the spokesperson captain Mavela Masondo had confirmed that a case of theft was opened, however, there have been no arrests at the time of the publication.
