On Sunday South Africa celebrated Mother's Day and ZAlebs across the entertainment industry shared heartwarming and tear-jerking messages to their mothers; gone or living.

It was beautiful to see first-time celebrity moms share in their exciting and both challenging motherhood experiences thus far.
The excitement was written all over Minnie Dlamini Jones' Instagram story when she shared a picture of herself and her son, Netha, at breakfast with the caption "My first Mother's Day."
Minenhle Jones nee Dlamini married the love of her life, Quinton Jones, in 2017 in a beautiful star-studded wedding that was televised on 1 Magic, as the channel bought the rights to air it.
Last year, she announced her pregnancy to the public in an Instagram post, expressing her gratitude excitement to extend her familybwith her husband. Their son Netha Makhosini Jones finally arrived and the TV personality was in awe of the fact that she was now a mother to a beautiful nand healthy baby boy. She also revealed that she had named her son after her late brother, Khosini.
Khosini suffered from a brain aneurysm in 2019, which led to his death after some time in hospital.
The Homeground presenter has shared numerous pictures of her son, giving her fans a glimpse into her motherhood journey. But none of the photos she has shared reveleded her songs faces, until the one she shared yesterday on Mother's Day.
When her son was three months old, she shared a picture with her fans; expressing that she could not believe that time had flown by so quickly.
"3 months later and I still can’t believe I’m a whole Mom! My boy, thank you for being the most perfect and sweet baby. You’ve given us a renewed sense of purpose. Can’t wait for all your Aunts & Uncles to meet you," the star wrote.
Other first-time ZAleb moms who could not contain the excitement of celebrating their first Mother's Day were radio host Pearl Modiadie who celebrated in style. The personality decided to spoil herself with an expensive luxury car.
"I gifted myself a push present in celebration of my first Mother’s Day. For the longest time Mother’s Day was a reminder of what I had lost, but now I celebrate what I have been given... the gift of being a mom," she wrote on social media with a picture of the interior of her brand new Porsche and a big bouquet of flowers.
The Queen actress Zenande Mfenyane also shared a picture of her baby on Instagram yesterday, wishing all first-time moms a lovely day.
Last week the actress urged her followers to never judge her if or when they see her on a public clinic poster because she has got to take care of her baby girl.
"Guys if you see my face on a poster in a public clinic, don’t judge. I need to feed my child."
Providing contect she further tweeted: "Context for those asking about my previous tweet. Someone said to me “you won’t believe who’s face is on the poster at ... clinic” and before she could tell me, I told her I don’t want to know, whoever it was, they did what they had to do to put food on the table.
“Would she have been as judgemental and shocked if that poster was at a private hospital? I doubt it. And I thought to myself, f*ck it, I’m doing what I need to do for my child I don’t need approval from anyone to put food on the table” she tweeted.
In essence the actress was telling her fans not to ever a judge a mother who is hustling and doing what needs to be done for her child because that's what mothers do.
