Mncedisi Shabangu's Memorial And Funeral Service Details Announced

He will be laid to rest this weekend

As the acting industry continues to pay tribute to Mncedisi Shabangu following his untimely passing, the seasoned actor's family is preparing to give him a dignified send-off.
In a statement shared via social media, the Shabangu family announced that a public memorial service would be held today at the Alliance Church of South Africa, in KaNyamazane, Mpumalanga.

His memorial service will be followed by his Funeral service which will take place on 30 July, KaNyamazane, Alliance Church of South Africa from 07h00-11h00.

According to the statement, a second memorial service will be held in Gauteng on 03 August 2022 at the The Market Theatre in Newtown from 12h00-15h00.


The actor's family has confirmed his passing via a statement. According to the statement, he died in the early hours of  24 July.

"It is with great sadness to announce that the Shabangu family informs you of the sudden passing of Mncedisi Baldwin Shabangu

"He passed away in the early hours of this morning. The family appreciates all messages and requests privacy at this difficult time'"

Messages of condolences are continuing pouring in for his family.
