It’s hard to believe that the rising talented singer hailing from the shores of Port Elizabeth has been in the music industry for over a decade and is only now taking over the music scene in a big way.
Just this past weekend the dance hall queen and mother of three completely owned the Coachella stage as a guest artist for producer and DJ, Diplo.
The talented singer and dancer showed off her incredible moves and vocals at one of the world’s biggest stages. She performed her hit song iWalki Ye Phara and had the crowd dancing along to her irresistible vibe. She gave festival-goers a taste of her self-created genre of “Future Ghetto punk” and they were there for it.

This, of course, isn’t the first time the singer has graced an international stage. She has played at another American Festival SXSW in Houston, Texas as well as visiting Spain by performing at the Primavera Sound festival.
Of course, performing at Coachella is an even bigger deal, considering this is the same stage that Beyoncé absolutely killed last year as the headlining act of the festival. The festival will be headlined by American Rapper Childish Gambino taking place over two weekends starting on the 12th of April and concluding on the 21st of April.
The poet has been having an incredible transition into the music industry and has been a gradual one and it seems to be taking the move in all the right directions.
