The mood throughout South Africa has been rather somber following the untimely death of popular Kwaio artist Mshoza. The star had been part of the entertainment industry for almost 20-years, she has experienced the highs and lows of being a public figure.

Although we knew her first as a musician, her personal life usually took the center stage in the latter part of her career, her relationships were mostly under public scrutiny. A few years back Mshoza separated from her husband, and shortly after that, she accused him of allegedly trying to kill her.
In an interview with DJ Fresh a while, the star revealed scary details about the abuse she allegedly endured in her marriage, she also mentioned that she had opened a case against her estranged husband, "I have opened a case of theft, gunpoint, assault and a lot of things that have happened, I am aware that he is denying the fact that he pointed the gun at me and all of that, but I guess that will be sorted out in court. I believe that he will get arrested today," she said at the time.
It looks like the star has left the drama behind her, taking to Instagram, she announced that she was on a traditional healing journey, "yes I didn't believe in such but it got to me... yes ngiya thwasa," she wrote. Take a look at the post below:
