Nandi Madida has sent a huge shout out to her husband, Grammy award winning artist, Zakes Bantwini. The Imali hitmaker won a Grammy alongside Nomcebo Zikode, and Wouter Kellerman who bagged his second Grammy with Bayethe which won Best Global Music Performance.

Nandi Madida noted that Zakes Bantwini lost his father last month, stating that it was a very difficult period for him. Him winning the Grammy, was proof that he had gained a very powerful ancestor, following his victorious win at the 65th Grammy Awards.
Commenting on his post which celebrated his win, Nandi Madida said, "Your dad is definitely smiling in heaven! Congrats my love. A whole Grammy winner. Dreams delayed, are not dreams denied."
In a separate post, Nandi gushed over her husband and said, "As some of you may know @zakesbantwini sadly lost his father last month. As you can imagine, it’s been such a challenging time for him, but I know his father is so proud of him right now. You have gained a powerful ancestor my love. Congrats for winning your first Grammy!"
Fellow celebrities have been congratulating Zakes Bantwini and tagging Nandi in the posts for playing an active role in the advancement of his career.
Zakes won the Grammy for Bayethe which features Nomcebo Zikode and Wouter Kellerman. She remains in awe over her success as a young woman who hails from Hammarsdale in KwaZulu-Natal.

This moment is owed to my late Mother & Father. Your efforts, sacrifices & lessons you handed down brought out the very best in me. I’m grateful…"
