Nomcebo continues to celebrate the song she wrote and she took to her Instagram account to gush about it's success.  The singer who is currently in an international your, recently performed in Tunisia and she left the crowd begging for more.

Nomcebo shared a video of her performance and one could tell that the crowd enjoyed it. "Come on men you can say what you can say and I won't fault you but I have put Zulu and the whole of South Africa on the map. I WROTE IT ( YES I WROTE IT ) in my breast tongue and sang it again. A big song, something you will never lose and it will be there in history and this is my truth. "

She thanked Tunisia for awarding her with an honorary certificate "Thank you Tunisia for awarding me with this honorary certificate. Thanks to all countries who respected me and awarded me for writing and singing this song countries be like."

It was a few months ago when Nomcebo claimed that she did not benefit for her contributions to the song. “I have not been paid a cent by the record label for #Jerusalema despite the song's global success. I have been ridiculed, with efforts to marginalise my contribution. I, as a female artist, can't stay silent anymore, the matter is now with my lawyers,” she said in a statement shared on Instagram.

Open Mic Production responded to Nomcebo's statement confirming that both artists were not paid. "No payment has been made to either artist as yet because Nomcebo is yet to sign the featured artist agreement that essentially records what was agreed between herself and Master KG prior to both of them going into the studio."

Open Mic stated that during the creation of the song Master KG (main artist) and Nomcebo Zikode (the featured artist) agreed on sharing 50/50 on Master KG's earning.

The statement continued to reveal that: "The featured artist agreement which reflected the equal split was drafted last year November for both parties to sign. Nomcebo Zikode through her legal team reviewed the contract and proposed a higher percentage." Master KG also took to Twitter to share his side of the story. He revealed that Nomcebo was paid over R1 Million.

But, Master KG has been served with a lawsuit for the copyright infringement of the global hit Jerusalema. This is after  Charmza the DJ and Biblos have instituted legal proceedings against him and his record label Open Mic Productions, and music distributor Africori, whose majority shareholder is the Warner Music Group, for alleged copyright infringement in respect of their commercialization of the Jerusalema song and master recording.

Apparently Nomcebo Zikode wrote and performed Jerusalema and Charmza composed the song. Master KG had little influence over the song.  Master KG clapped back and said, "The reason Nomcebo came to My studio is because she liked my Jerusalema beat that I sent her weeks before studio day...and y'all are out here saying Nomcebo didn't like my beats on studio day and she liked other guy beats ai!! Take me to court and stop doing interviews," he said.
