Radio and TV personality Pearl Modiadie is expanding her brand and really shooting for the stars. According to entertainment commentator Phil Mphela, Pearl Modiadie has landed herself a lead role in a television show.

The former Zaziwa host and Metro FM DJ is set to take a lead role in a new telenovela to comment later this month. Over the years Pearl Modiadie has had couple of roles across different television shows including Scandal! and Entangled. Although she is mostly famous for being a TV host, Radio presenter as well as MC, she is ready to spread her wings and fly.

Also joining the cast will be The Queen actor Themba Ndaba. Ndaba is also another veteran actor who has shared his talent with millions of South African viewers. Currently Themba Ndaba plays Brutus Khoza on the popular Mzansi Magic's The Queen.
Rumors around The Queen getting cancelled have been gaining momentum from the time they broke a few months ago. Mzansi Magic as well as Mnet has since issued a statement, supporting the rumors that indeed The Queen is currently filming its final season and the curtain will close early next, in March.
