Phil Mphela Cryptic Tweet Rubs Nota Baloyi The Wrong Way

Baloyi has since lashed out at Mphela for a tweet he thinks was directed to him

Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela's recent tweet has landed him in hot water as Nota Baloyi lashes out at him. Following Mphela's cryptic tweet where Baloyi felt it was a sub to him, all hell broke loose on social media in a war of words.

A war has been waged between Phil Mphela and Nota Baloyi following a nameless tweet that has definitely gotten to Baloyi. Where Mphela was addressing tweeps not to entertain a certain Twitter user's tweet because they feed off of the hype and staying on the trend list. Baloyi has immediately clocked the sub and proceeded to lash out to Mphela, who he feels was subtly dissing him.

"Don’t take the bait. Ignore his tweets. The guy feeds off of trending. He wants to boast that he trends everyday He has to up himself daily by trying to offend somebody or tweet the most outrageous thing. DO NOT TAKE THE BAIT. Like when a child throws tantrums, ignore him." wrote Entertainment commentator, Phil Mphela
Immediately, a handful of tweets jumped on Mphela's bandwagon to either speculate who he was referring to and or agreeing with him about the said supposed attention seeker. The more tweeps who tweeted Nota Baloyi's name was an enough giveaway to give the impression that Mphela was referring to Baloyi.

"Been saying this but people don't seem to get this. Mentioning him is fuel for his narcissism and unfortunately, some of what he says ain't taken at face value by some and hurts those he mentions." wrote Wolf
"Glad I was blocked, his convos used to pop up on the TL like that porn page… That old git says a lot of shocking things and gets away with it because of his supporters. He’s that friend our parents told us to always keep a distance yet he gets the airtime tog…" wrote Africa Mthiyane

It did not take Baloyi long enough to subtweet Mphela's tweet and lambasted him for supposedly urging tweeps not to give him attention. In his tweet, Baloyi used rather unsavory and distasteful choice of words while eluding that he has Mphela on chokehold.
