The last two weekends have seen music lovers from around the world head to Indio, California in the United States for the annual Coachella music festival.
This year’s festival captured headlines around the world after Beyonce shut things down with a HBCU-themed performance across both weekends.
Because Beyonce deferred her 2017 booking to 2018, that gave our ZAlebs some time to save their coins and secure their wigs before flying out to see her. The biggest Beyonce fan in South Africa, Anele Mdoda, even took two weeks off her show, Real Talk With Anele, as part of her annual leave and made sure to time in juuuust right, so that she could see her fave shut things down.
