A new set of Mzansi top actors have been announced as set to join the cast of M-Net's upcoming first telenovela Legacy.

Siyabonga Thwala, Leeanda Reddy and Don Mlangeni Nawa have been added to the already gripping cast names that feature Kgomotso Christopher, Michelle Botes, Mary-anne Barlow, Deon Lotz, Jay Anstey, Dawid Minnaar and David Jeftha Deon.

Last month M-Net announced that Legacy would be coming to screens in September and is produced by Tshedza Pictures, who also produce awards-winning drama The River.

Siyabonga who has been rumoured to be leaving his famous role of Mpiyakhe Zungu in Mzansi Magic’s popular soap "Isibaya", will portray Msizi Zulu an ambitious board member at Legacy Media, who has his eyes set on the CEO position.

Veteran actor Don Mlangeni Nawa will play, John the company's longest-serving employee. Leeanda will portray the role of Nirvana Perumal - Legacy’s sharp, witty and tough Investment board chairperson.

“Rest assured, secrets, schemes and shady alliances will wittingly or unwittingly surround these three characters in Legacy,” says M-Net’s Head of Publicity, Lani Lombard. “All three the above cast members will also bring even more gravitas to the series.”
