Congratulations to actress and club DJ Thulisile Phongolo who has just purchased a new home.

Phongolo shared an image from her driveway holding a printed photograph of her mansion.

Speaking about her latest achievement, the actress notes that she has been holding back celebrating her achievement in the public eye.

I hold back a lot when it comes to celebrating and truly showing gratitude for my wins because I wonder in my head a lot… but there it is, once an idea, now my reality. Thank you GOD, my ancestors and my loved for all the support and encouragement I needed to take this step. Ngiyabonga!
Thuli P’s interest in acting began at a young age and when she was in high school, she enrolled in drama classes.

Thuli got her big acting gig at the age of 17-years-old. She was as Zama on SABC 1’s Tshisa.

The role on Tshisa opened her up to more opportunities as she went on to host Craze show on e.TV and she also had roles on Mzansi Magic’s The Republic and SABC1’s Makoti.

In 2014, Thuli Phongolo landed her most notable role to date when she was cast as Namhla Diale in the popular South African soap-drama Generations: The Legacy. Phongolo was in the drama for over four years and left in 2018 after her character was written off from the story.

Following her departure from Generations: The Legacy, the actress has had other roles in a few other shows and films including I Am Sofia and the popular Showmax original series- The Wife.

She left the popular Showmax telenovela after the first season.

The 28-year-old has managed to leverage her popularity to open more doors for her. Besides her acting career, Thuli Phongolo who has been vocal about her love of music for the longest time ventured into deejaying.

She is now a full-time club DJ and is seen headlining some of the biggest parties in the country. Although her career move has been met with mixed reactions, she has managed to turn it into a big success.

Social media was outraged last year after her booking fee surfaced online. At the time she was charging R20 000 per gig. What enraged many people about social media was the fact that it came with many add-ons that were way more than the initial fee.
