Uncle Waffles vs DBN Gogo

A heated argument has gotten tweeps comparing both these powerhouse DJs

A heated argument amongst tweeps has emerged on Twitter between Uncle Waffles and DBN Gogo. Both these power house DJ's are doing amazingly in their own right, however tweeps feel as though either one is better than the other.

Following Uncle Waffles recently first music video that has just been released. One tweet took to Twitter to sing Uncle Waffles praises while eluding that she is one of the powerful female DJ's in Mzansi.

"Believe it not .Uncle Waffles is the biggest female DJ in the country" wrote Sergio
That one tweet about Uncle Waffles being the biggest DJ in the country, was the beginning of the heated comparison between Uncle Waffles and DBN Gogo. Although it is a bold statement to single out Uncle Waffles as the only biggest DJ, when Mzansi has so many female DJ's doing amazing work. However, everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

"Not when DBN Gogo and Lamiez are still alive. Pls mama, get ur facts right" wrote Chanel
Recently, Uncle Waffles has signed to be a resident DJ and host on BBC 1. She also signed a deal with with JΓ€germeister, "I joined the family and signed with JΓ€germeister Africa, shots on me" wrote Uncle Waffles

"I hear what he's saying. Uncle Waffles jumped over everyone in the industry and went straight to BBC Radio. That achievement is almost as great as when Trevor Noah was appointed as the new host of the Daily Show all those years ago" wrote King Puma
Another tweet, came swinging with some of DBN Gogo's accolades as well as her international gigs, comparing her to the likes of Black Coffee and Kabza De Small.

"You have to understand that djs have different goals. If Uncle Waffles wants to be a resident on radio then that's her. But she would never match the tours that DBN Gogo has done in the past 2 yrs. DBN Gogo is touring almost as much as Kabza and Black Coffee" wrote Chanel
In the short period that Uncle Waffles has been in the industry for, she has managed to do exceptionally well than some of her fellow DJ's. Which is why tweeps feel as though, her track record surpasses her other fellow female DJ's.

"But uncle waffles has already been around for less than 1 year, 11 months to be exact and I’m pretty sure in that time period she has toured more than the DJs you mentioned have. Which does make her the biggest if you think about it" wrote Sena Mthembu
"The DJs being your lamiez & DBN gogo, uncle waffles has more international engagement than any other female DJ in South Africa" wrote Senza Mthembu
"DBN Gogo is not touring the world as much as waffles since October" wrote Trinmoo
In the end of the exchange, it became apparent that evidently Uncle Waffles has done so much in her short space of time, than any other female DJ currently.

"Uncle Waffles started off touring the world. If I'm not mistaken,she has done more gigs outside the country than in South Aah" wrote Nduna
"Never thought about it this way. Good argument" wrote King Pumza
Eventually, tweeps were came to an agreement that Uncle Waffles is actually the leader of the pack.
