This is as her debut single Tanzania which has gone on to be certified multi-platinum, along with a music video which sits with over a million views and counting to date

Moreover, she has accrued a number of international stars who have publicly stated their adoration for her. But now it seems that she might just add another name to this given her Halloween costume.

Uncle Waffles channels Beyonce for Halloween

In South Africa, Halloween is not necessarily a generally celebrated holiday. But if you are a ZAlebs with time, money, a stylist, makeup artist and inspiration. What is there to stop you from realising your dreams or nightmares on the special American holiday? Nothing.

As such, Uncle Waffles shared her Halloween costume, and just like Lori Harvey, she was inspired by none other than Beyonce Knowles-Carter. Specifically, mid-2000s Beyonce when she released her sophomore album B-Day which had the hit single which was also part of the Pink Panther soundtrack, Check On It. Not only did Uncle Waffles dress up like Beyonce, but she recreated some of the scenes from the music video.

It seems like it is only a matter of time until Beyonce is just another Hollywood star that is in love with Uncle Waffles. As such, it would not be much of a surprise if one of these good days we see a repost or like by Queen B dedicated to our Uncle Waffles, and she would not be the first to do so. This is as the  first international star to have publicly stated their affections for Uncle Waffles was Drake, who not only followed and shared Uncle Waffles on his stories. But if rumours are to be believed, Drake had also offered to fly her to the US in order to meet her.

But the latest of Hollywood celebrities to fangirl over Uncle Waffles was Kehlani. As shared previously:

“Recently, American singer-songwriter Kehlani was in the country as she was part of the headlining acts for the two-city and two-weekends festival Rocking the Daisies. Starting in Cape Town, Kehlani would come up to Johannesburg as she wrapped the South African leg of her travelling tour.

During her time in Johannesburg, she conducted an interview with SilkourOnLife. While the interview had moments of depth as the singer-songwriter spoke about her musical journey and time in South Africa, Silkour did have fun with Kehlani by asking her if she has a local crush. Kehlani was quick with her answer as she picked Uncle Waffles.”
