Zandie revealed that she receives numerous emotional messages from fans who want advise, help, and fans who want to vent every day but recently she received a rare one.

A fan wrote the singer expressing that she prays every time and her prayers aren't answered. “Every day I receive DMs from different people, some need help, some need advises, some just want to vent and this morning I received a rare DM from someone who said to me “Sis Zandie I just wanna talk to u about something very uncomfortable to a lot of people,I have been going through a lot and I feel like every time I pray it gets worse and I’m saying to u sis Zandie prayer has never worked for me ngenze njani," she wrote.

Zandie said she felt heavy since she couldn't give a perfect response to the fan. "My heart has been heavy since, it’s probably heavy because I did not have an answer for her and heavier because I did not want her problem to in turn push me away from God as much as I heard and understood what she was going through ,she didn’t need a “It’s going to be alright” cos uthi akulungi and she certainly didn’t need a prayer but I hope thing eventually works out for her and for all of us.”
Zandie Khumalo recently joined the list of people who have defended AKA's friend Don Design from the people who have placed him as their number 1 suspect. This after Don Design got dragged for his body language when that gruesome CCTV footage of AKA's murder got leaked.

Taking to Instagram, Zandie Khumalo said she knows how Don Design feels, taking it back to how society placed her and her family as suspects in the Senzo Meyiwa case.

She advised him to mourn his friend and then heal and live his best life. “I feel for you Don Design wabantu even though I don’t know you... I know what you [are] going through but you must know that South Africa has smart people but it’s dominated by a lot of fools with data and smartphones and if you are weak your life will be turned upside down by these clueless fools. Stay strong bhuti, mourn your friend, heal, and continue to live your life as long as you know your truth and your friend knows the truth, love, and light.”
