Trevor Noah is at it again. The successful South African born comedian is releasing the child adaptation of his New York Time's bestselling book Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood.

The original book which was released in November of 2016 has become a fan favorite. In the book, Trevor tells tales and stories from his childhood. He recounts multiple tales of him growing up with his family in the dusty streets of Soweto.

Born A Crime was not only a New York Time's bestseller but was also named as one of the books of the year by The New York Times, Booklist, & Esquire. It was also listed on Oprah Winfrey's book club of books to check out.

Trevor decided to relaunch the book and create a child-friendly adaptation of it. Where he tells the same stories however with a child's perspective in mind. Trevor's book has received critical acclaim for a reason, and as South Africans, we know how inspiring his story is to us, so what better yet our young generation. The book will be available in selected book stores around the country on April 19th.
