Arthur Mafokate’s mother has only seen him perform live twice in his entire career, and the artist wants nothing more than for her to see him for a third time.
However, his mom missed an opportunity to see him perform at the 999 Music Celebration Party on Saturday because she sadly had an operation.
But it is not all bad news, as his mother is recovering well.
“My mom only watched me perform twice in my whole career, [the] first was per my invite in 1996 and the second was because she was one of the street vendors at that event. And this could have been the third time but she had an operation. I am happy now that she is back from ICU,” he captioned a picture on Instagram of his mother in hospital.
We hope she makes a speedy recovery so she can see her son doing what he does best for that third time!
