From the jump, episode one of newly released drama series - House Keepers has had South African viewers at the edge of their seat since last week.
Just when we thought we were going to be eased into the storyline, the ever-so-talented creative writers and producers of the show thrust the audience into a deep and dark storyline filled with drama, betrayal and death. Oh yeah, it seems like The House Keepers will be one of those drama series' that has at least one or two characters dying on every episode.
Before the first episode premiered, Thando Thabethe had this to say about this new project she and the rest of her team have embarked on:
“I can’t begin to explain what this project means to me and everyone involved. We worked really hard to put this one together, I’m super nervous but so excited for you to see our work. Thank you for walking this path with us," she said.
In the first episode, we witnessed a scandalous Zwide wedding ending in bloodshed turning the life of a young woman (Thando Thabethe) upside down.
And just when we thought the second episode was going to be less dramatic than the first, we are then hit with yet another shocking turn of events that involve death and betrayal.
If you haven't yet watched House Keepers then you really need to re-evaluate your entertainment priorities, trust us the hype about this show is well worth it.
These are just some of our favourite responses from viewers who have watched both episodes of the show.
Although her role was cut short, Nthati Moshesh always gives her best in whatever role she is given, we hope to see more of her acting in new shows for 2019.
Nthati Moshesh! May she never be forgotten. Absolutely brilliant 😭😭❤ #HousekeepersMzansi

Eish, it's always awkward when another show gains more preference over another. Some people are really not feeling season 2 of The Imposter.
I feel #HousekeepersMzansi was supposed to air Sundays instead of #TheImposter. 30 min isn't enough honestly.

Who watches the House Keeper with their housekeeper? We can only imagine how tense the room can be when everyone is watching the show.
Watching #HousekeepersMzansi with our helper. Ku tense 😬

So remember we told you that it seems like a death will occur in almost every episode of this show? Well, Eunice (the helper of the Zwide family) was killed in such an awkward manner last night. She thought she was going to get some bedroom action from Peter but instead, all she received was death and let's just say the reactions to how she died was hilarious. Check them out.

In other news, Zikhona Sodlaka who plays the role of Boniswa Zwide (Peter's evil wife) has been getting a lot of unpleasant looks from the public ever since the show aired, which means she's doing a great job.
The looks I get from people on these streets after an episode of #HousekeepersMzansi 😂 Thank You SA 😙
