Recognition across borders is always welcome.
South African musicians, Nasty C and Shekhinah Donnel, are certainly raising our flag across borders. This past weekend saw these two insanely gifted artists scoop awards in major categories, including Best Male in Southern Africa, Best Female in Southern Africa and Songwriter of the Year, respectively.
The AFRIMMA Awards were held in Ghana. The entire continent of Africa watched in awe as our very own Pearl Thusi took to her duties as host. Shekhinah was clearly proud of Pearl. She wrote: ”Pearl you where amazing as usual in awe!”
A big shout out to our stars for representing Mzansi.
