The evening was a success thanks to 3 simple ingredients: Music, Art and Love.
Nasty C brought the music, of course, with his live band and label signee, Rowlene. He also brought the art with 4 of his own hand created sketches hanged up on the gallery walls.
So what's left? Love.
Nasty C recently trended for days when he and his gorgeous girlfriend, Sammie, made their relationship Instagram official. We can all relate to the young lovebirds. Remember being in love at that age? How you just want to scream from the top off the rooftops? How you can't help but show them off? Now, imagine that but rich.
First thing when you see when you walk in to the gallery: Sammie's face. Nasty C drew an A1 illustration of his muse and included it in his debut exhibit.
Then, during his interview, his publicists surprised Nasty C with a grand entrance. Sammie walked in through the audience in a cowl neck gold sequined mini dress, basically looking like a supermodel. She was then given her own special set with clear view of her man's performance.
After the show it was time for a photo op. Somehow, while taking photos with his band, someone got a smudge of makeup his white Gucci cardigan. He basically freaked out, but Sammie was there to calm him down a bit.
Sammie also managed to keep her cool when the party moved outside for the SMA Music Video Trilogy premiere. Seated in the Red Bull Music truck above the crowd, Sammie watched her boyfriend's fans swarm the streets with a sense of pride. They serenaded each other with the song, stealing kisses in between camera flashes.
Seeing so much puppy love can't not make you a bit envious hey. But don't worry guys, one day is one day!
