Generations: The Legacy actor Rapulana Seiphemo is recovering well in hospital.
The star, who plays Tau Mogale on the soapie, was admitted to Johannesburg’s Milpark Hospital after being involved in a serious accident on Sunday evening.
Speaking to SABC news, family spokesperson Mduduzi Mkhakhane said: “The surgery was successful. He’s in a stable condition and we thank God for that.”
He added that Rapulana is recovering well. He said this is a difficult time for the family: “Hence we would also appreciate the space that, uhm, we could be afforded as well to do what we need to do as the family.”
Mkhakhane also asked the public to give the family space. “We completely understand that Rapulana has a whole lot of fans, but the family also appeals to both the media and the fans as well to give us the space as well, to get the information to be able to respond appropriately.”
