Babes Wodumo & Mampintsha's recent romantic reunion may be a bone of contention for actress Jessica Nkosi.
The Isibaya star recently took to Twitter to rant about men who abuse their spouses.
"Any man that hits a woman belongs in the pits of HELL!!! How dare you say you love her but hurt her, these a**holes hit their wives, girlfriends, the mother of their kids!! You declare your love but harm her!", Jessica tweeted alongside several angry emojis.
While many fans were confused by the somewhat out-of-character tweet from the normally calm star, others connected the dots and believed Jessica's rant was aimed at musician and producer Mampintsha, who is in a highly-publicised relationship with Babes.
"Mampintsha must come & take his sub[tweet],'' responded one tweep, whilst another posted "Mampintsha hurt Babes but she loves him.
After all, Jessica's tweet appeared shortly after Babes posted a very saucy snap of herself with her on-again boyfriend - accused of emotionally and physically abusing her - questionably captioned 'baby daddy'.
The qgom singer recently dropped her assault charges against her manager bae and called on South Africans to ‘forgive him’. Mampintsha also publicly apologised to fans, claiming that he ‘regrets’ his actions and that he was seeking professional help. He also pledged to work through his ‘Fix It Fix Him’ organisation.
But it looks like forgiveness may be a hard pill to swallow for some, including Jessica.
Along with many other stars, Jessica took to Twitter earlier this year to weigh in on the video that went viral of Mampintsha assaulting Babes. She also applauded the singer/dancer for her bravery in laying a charge against her ‘abuser’.
"What Babes did was so brave. @BABESWODUMO you are not alone my love," she tweeted at the time
We don't entirely blame Jessica for the tweet if she was indeed directing her anger at the West Inc music exec.
Babes & Mapintsha's relationship status has us all confused. Through its highs and lows, it played with our emotions, evoking feelings of anger and frustration.
But with that being said, Babes & Mampintsha’s relationship status is their own damn business – whether they’re together or not!
Moral of the story: Sip you water and mind your bizniz!
