The actor was due to undergo surgery today on his birthday, but sadly passed away. As his family prepares to lay him to rest this week and give him a fitting send-off. His friend Zola Hashatsi, has taken to his Instagram account to wish him his first heavenly birthday.

In a heartfelt post he wrote "Happy Heavenly 32 Birthday Mngani. We should be planning your birthday braai, instead we are planning your memorial service and funeral. Life is something else. According to a statement shared by Hashatsi on his Instagram account, Siyanda was admitted at the Garden City Hospital on 15 February after sustaining head injuries during the attack.

"Doctors mentioned that he had a fracture on his skull and decided to take him to theatre on Wednesday 16th February 2022.. The operation went well and he was responding well from the coma, until the 21st of February 2022, when he went into a cardiac arrest at about 17:30. Early hours of Tuesday the 22nd the doctors mentioned that he had a seizure. "

Siyanda then went for a scan on 26 February 2022, for the doctors to assess what might have caused the cardiac arrest and on the 26 February, his doctor informed him that he was brain damaged and chances of him surviving were extremely low.

" Since then, he put on a good fight until the morning of the 11th March when we received a call from the hospital we received a call from the hospital requesting us to urgently come. Siyanda took his last breath at about 08:30," reads the statement.

Siyanda leaves behind his beautiful daughter that he loved wholeheartedly. Hashatsi paid tribute to him in a post for being an incredible father to his daughter.

"The love you had for your daughter was commendable. You were a present Father and you did it all for her. You truly were a kind soul buddy. I pray I never find the people that did this to you coz I don't know what I will do. It's emotionally, mentally, physically draining to write RIP every week. I am NOT okay. Farewell buddy @siyasesimani #RIPSiyaSesimani."

May his soul rest in peace.
