Following news that singer and TV personality Nandi Mngoma was praised by international fashion critics for her BET Awards red carpet look, AKA is making waves in the US of his own.
The Congratulate hitmaker seems to have left a big impression on American music lovers, who now want more of the rapper.
AKA, who was nominated for a BET Award for the second year in a row, wowed audiences at the BET Experience event over the weekend.
He was the only African act to perform on the main stage, alongside the likes of Snoop Dogg and Desiigner.
Promoters and agents loved what they saw so much, they now want AKA to come back to the US for a full tour.

They are still working on the finer details, but in the meantime, the rapper is set to perform in New York on July 6 at the Everyday People event.
AKA was also interviewed by 106 & Park, a popular American music show, where he was labelled the king of SA rap.
First Black Coffee won Best International Act: Africa, then Nandi Mngoma wowed US style critics, and now AKA is creating major buzz in the U-S-of-A for South African rappers!
We can't wait to see what the rest of the year has in store for these Mzansi stars.
